German plastics and rubber machinery exports remain

German plastics and rubber machinery are in demand worldwide at the
most. Despite the sharp downturn of the global market for the German
machine manufacturer of its market position in the first half of 2010
have claimed. 2009 attracted 24 percent of global shipments from
Germany.

In Europe, German manufacturers supplied 31 percent of the machines,
in Asia it was 24 percent. In the Middle East were 29 percent in
Central and South Asia, 25 percent of the machines from German

26 percent (North America), 18 percent (Central America) and 20
percent (South America) of global deliveries. German suppliers are
located in Africa with 15 percent of total shipments to rank third

"The actual performance was much more enjoyable than it could expect
the estimates to the beginning of the year", said Thorsten Kühmann,
Managing Director of VDMA - Association plastics and rubber machinery,
